The Priory Care Home is a large, early Victorian country house built in 1840, set on a level site on the side of a hill within the picturesque village of Llandogo and providing high quality residential and nursing care with registration for fifty-six service users.

Surrounded by approximately three acres of garden and superbly located in an elevated position, the home enjoys magnificent views across the Wye Valley and river whilst being easily accessible from major routes and being in close proximity to both Monmouth and Chepstow.

Abbeyfield Usk

The Abbeyfield Society is a charitable organisation which exists to make older people’s lives easier and more fulfilling. It is for anyone over pensionable age who no longer feels able to cope or does not wish to live alone at home. Particular consideration is given to local people or to those with local connections.

‘Ty Melyn’ in New Market Street is the Abbeyfield house in Usk. It has accommodation for six residents. The rooms are en suite and each has a walk-in shower. For those residents who may need it there is a stair lift to the first floor. The house has a very pleasant large garden to the rear and is situated in the heart of the town with easy access to shops and all other facilities.
