A SHACKLETON ODYSSEY

The Rotary Club of Usk has engaged an interesting speaker for an evening dinner at the Glen-yr-Afon House Hotel on 16th April. Roger Smith, an adventurer who has completed a number of very challenging journeys in various parts of the world will give an illustrated talk on "A Shackleton Odyssey" Roger has completed a large part of Shackleton's famous adventure and will present his account of the journey. Tickets for the evening, which includes a two course dinner cost £20 and can be obtained from Tony Watkins on Usk 673375.
