Usk in Bloom Annual Auction

A successful Usk in Bloom Auction at ‘The Nag’s Head’ saw 75 people bid for 120 items donated by individuals and businesses in Usk and District.  Mike Key and Chris Brain were auctioneers for the night and set a lively pace.  The event raised £3,700 for this year’s activities.  The money will be used for communal floral displays, grass cutting on the Monmouth Road and to fund the Town Competition and entry in Wales in Bloom.  John Evans of the organising committee thanked donors and bidders for their generosity and looked forward to another successful season for the town.
