Following a public consultation supported and led by David Davies, Newport Transport will be launching the X25 service next Monday (5^th December). As well as stopping at Raglan and Usk, the service will call at Newport Bus Station, where commuters can link up with the X30 express service to Cardiff, and Newport Train Station. The X25 will be free to use on launch day, meaning people can use it as many times as they want for free on 5^th December.

 

The feedback we have received from commuters, shoppers and local residents suggests the X25 service will be well supported and we do hope people who travel regularly to Newport will give it a try. It is worth remembering that this service is not being subsidised so it is very much going to be a case of use it or lose it.
