Usk Chamber of Commerce

Usk and District Chamber of Commerce has been a part of the Business community in Usk for over fifty years. Whilst traditionally it acted as a fellowship of like-minded traders, it still has a relevance today as it seeks to provide a united voice on behalf of the Businesses in the Town.

The Chamber acts as an efficient and professional liason with both the Town and County Council, and is regularly consulted for its opinion when these bodies are forming and shaping policy. Recently, the Chamber was instrumental in defeating Monmouthshire County Councils attempt to levy charges on Usks free car parks, and it is currently consulting with the Town Council on its response to the issues leading from the excessive volume of HGV traffic passing through the town.

On a lighter note, the Chamber organises various events throughout the year, including the ever successful Victorian Day, and in its expanded form, the Usk Winter Festival 2008.

We aim to be fully inclusive, and are open to all aspects of Business in the Town.
Meetings are held on the last Monday of each month at The Sessions House in Maryport Street, starting at 6pm, and are usually quite informal. Minutes are circulated to all member businesses, and are available to read here on this website.
