Usk Scouts

 1st Usk (Burrium) Scout Group

 
Scouting provides exciting activities for young people and development their skills for future life.
In Usk there are the following sections:-
 
Beavers: (ages 6 - 8)              Fridays - 6 pm - 7pm
Cubs:       (ages 8-101/2)        Thursdays - 6.30 pm - 8 pm
Scouts:    (ages 101/2 to 14) Fridays - 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm

Usk Youth Brass Band

Usk Youth Brass Band is a competition winning band, that meets and plays regularly in Usk. The band has toured Germany, visiting Usk's twin town Graben-Neudorf, and welcomes new members for only 50p per session for under 18's. Meetings on Monday evenings at the Memorial Hall from 7pm.

Stageright Drama Workship

Now in its twelfth year, Stageright offers a weekly session of drama, music and dance to children aged between 6 and 16. The main ethos is that the children have fun in a workshop environment whilst gaining confidence and learning to work in a group.Each session lasts for one-and-a-half hours for junior and intermediate groups, and two hours for seniors.
 
Stageright is held on Thursday evenings at Usk Memorial Hall, Maryport Street, Usk NP15 1AD.
Juniors and Intermediates attend from 5pm -6.30pm and Seniors from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Fees are currently £5 per session, per child,for juniors and intermediates, and £6 for seniors.

Zest Dance Academy

Dance  Class. Tap, Ballet and Modern for ages 3 yrs and above. Classes held at Gwehelog Hall on the Usk to Raglan Road
